We've been accepted into the Founder Studio program of Brighteye Ventures, one of Europe's leading EdTech investment funds. A new chapter is beginning on the European stage.
London- and Paris-based Brighteye Ventures is Europe's first and largest EdTech-focused investment fund, having backed more than 50 education technology startups to date. Founder Studio is Brighteye's 12-week program, run from its London office with a small cohort of founders selected from over 100 applications. The focus is concrete: corporate pilot programs, design partner relationships, and fundraising guidance.
What this partnership means for Madlen
Founder Studio provides solid infrastructure for our entry into the United Kingdom and European markets. To test the teacher-centered model we've built in Türkiye in a new context, we need the right partnerships. Brighteye's network gives us direct access to potential school and institutional partners, as well as to the operators of the UK education ecosystem.
Our founder Atakan Özkaya describes the process:
"Opening the door to new collaborations and becoming part of a global network through the strength of the Brighteye ecosystem matters to us. As Madlen tests in Europe the model we've developed in Türkiye, we'll have Brighteye's sector expertise and operational experience by our side."
What's ahead
Madlen's European expansion is just getting started.
To everyone who has walked this journey with us — and especially to the teachers who welcomed Madlen into their classrooms — thank you. We're continuing to write the next chapter together.
